He has worked with Steel Authority of India Ltd, (SAIL), India’s largest corporate entity, and has 26 years of Industrial experience (SAIL – Salem Steel Plant, Salem) and 11 years of marketing experience (SAIL – Central Marketing Organisation, Chennai).
J Baskaran strongly believes that Coaching is unlocking people’s potential to maximize their own performance. And a Coach can help a performer/Executive/Leader to remove or reduce their internal obstacles to performance, an unexpected natural ability to learn and to perform will occur without the need for much technical input from the coach. And he believes that internal obstacles are often more discouraging than external ones.
He is very much interested in Human behaviour and has studied it deeply using Neuro Linguistic Programming, Modern management practices.
He is in the process of coaching many engineers, executives, senior executives and business people.

He is Certified Life and Leadership coach and he committed himself to support the needy people in a meaningful way to gain clarity in what they want to achieve, and create an environment so that they can bring out their hidden potential and use all available resources, to fulfil their commitments and motivate them to move towards their goals and start taking massive action to reach their big dreams and goals.
And he has coached the students at Malaysia and UAE (Dubai) countries also.
He regularly inculcates the trainings within his organisation (SAIL) for his team members, employees, and executives which helps them ultimately to fulfil the organisational goal and self in most effective manner.
He runs training programs for Corporates and Colleges also.
He conducts program for teachers and parents.
He has served as Resource Person for train the selected students of in and around Salem Educational District, who will be participating in the “Young Scientist Contest” which will be held at New Delhi, every year, and 4th week of December, which will be presided over by President of India.
Being organised by Tamilnadu Science Forum, Salem, and J Baskaran used the opportunity to train and coach the students of many number of schools, in particular remote village schools.
He has involved himself and done this project as total service to the students’ fraternity for continuous five years. He had immense satisfaction means students received rewards and awards.
His passion towards Coaching and Trainings has led him to leave job from the corporate PSU company SAIL.
